RaShaan Davis
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
RaShaan M. Davis is a dynamic leader in youth development and education, with over 20 years of experience dedicated to empowering young minds. Hailing from the vibrant city of Chicago, RaShaan brings a unique blend of expertise, passion, and a deep commitment to community-building. Armed with a BA in Psychology and a master’s in Business Administration, he most recently earned a master’s in Education from Loyola Marymount University.
RaShaan has made his mark as a transformative educator, having taught Kindergarten and Lower Elementary across Private, Catholic, Charter, and Public schools. His leadership extends beyond the classroom as the Director of renowned youth programs, including Galileo Learning, a hands-on STEAM summer camp, and multiple Boys & Girls Clubs across five states. His innovative approaches have impacted communities in Chicago, Indiana, Colorado, New Jersey, California, and Arizona.
A former college athlete, RaShaan’s basketball journey has taken him far. He was part of the collegiate coaching staff for women’s basketball and competed in Chicago’s ProAm summer league, playing alongside several well-known NBA players. His passion for the game extended to creating basketball leagues for business professionals, college campuses, and youth development agencies. As a Director of Athletics on the regional level, he fostered athletic excellence and community engagement.
RaShaan’s passion for basketball, health and fitness, and leadership development fuels his mission to create thriving environments where every student is seen, valued, and empowered. He’s dedicated to fostering a culture where students can excel both academically and personally.
Tara Davis
Chief Visionary Officer & Treasurer
Tara Cook Davis is a passionate advocate for youth development and community engagement, bringing over 15 years of experience in programming, arts education, and event coordination to her role as Director of Programming and Events for the HoopLuv Dreams Foundation. She specializes in designing transformative opportunities that integrate sports, arts, and mentorship to inspire youth to thrive.
At HoopLuv Dreams Foundation, Tara leads impactful basketball clinics, camps, and events, incorporating her dance background to enhance performance. She emphasizes how dance techniques improve agility, balance, and coordination while fostering focus, teamwork, and confidence—critical leadership qualities for well-rounded athletes.
Tara’s proven track record of teaching and leadership includes reaching over 500 students weekly across grades TK-6 through arts education initiatives. She also created the innovative "Arts Saves Lives" curriculum, adopted by Inglewood Unified School District to connect at-risk youth with the arts meaningfully.
Her academic achievements—a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, a Master’s degree in Education, and an Administrative Credential—equip her to craft programs integrating movement, creativity, and mentorship into sports. Tara’s leadership at HoopLuv Dreams Foundation demonstrates the transformative power of arts and sports to build resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of community.
By blending her expertise in arts education and sports programming, Tara continues to make a lasting impact on youth development through creative and dynamic initiatives.
